Tenor Madness is a legendary jazz recording from 1956, featuring Sonny Rollins and John Coltrane — the only known studio collaboration between these two tenor sax giants. The tune is a 12-bar blues in Bb, and the session was part of Rollins’ album of the same name, released on Prestige Records.
